Columba in Ireland
I’ve been collaborating with Gaelic scholar Michael Newton over the last few months. We were granted the Colmcille 1500 Heritage Award by CHARTS, we used it to create this video on the story of Colmcille in Ireland in celebration of the saints 1500th anniversary.
Here is the manuscript created for the video with some closeups of details from the story, the piece is on an A4 sheet of calf skin vellum. The video is below.
