seaweed burn

At Tarbat there’s no evidence of lime but there is evidence of seaweed burning so it’s likely they used potash as the alkaline source

the smoke from seaweed makes it unlikely to have been processed in any quantity at the site, it was most likely processed at the beach, I’ll need to get this process perfected to understand the Tarbat site.
